Parking for Holy Week and Easter

Parking for Holy Week and Easter

For the Maundy Thursday and Good Friday evening services, there will be relaxed parking, so that with your Old First parking placard, you can park on the east side of 4th Street (from Florist Street all the way down to Arch) and on the south side of Race Street (from 4th to 3rd Street).

There is a special parking lot for both our Easter services– under the Ben Franklin Bridge:

Enter from 4th Street.  The entrance is on the left / east side of 4th Street as you are driving south,  under the Bridge, immediately on the left after you pass St. Augustine’s and St. George’s Churches.

There will be a parking attendant. The lot will be open from 8:30 am until 1:30 pm. After that, you will be unable to retrieve your car!  You will need an Old First parking placard.

Otherwise, we will have relaxed parking on the east side of 4th from below Florist Street all the way south to Arch Street. Relaxed parking means that you may park on the east side of 4th St.  from Race to Arch and on the south side of Race between 3rd and 4th, without feeding the parking meter.   Please put the Parking Placard in your window so you don’t get a ticket.

Public transportation is always a good option: Old First is easily accessible via the Market-Frankford el, the Speedline, the SEPTA suburban trains and bus lines.
