MIDDAY MEETING KICKS OFF (Sat., 10.02)  WITH A FIELD TRIP

MIDDAY MEETING KICKS OFF (Sat., 10.02)  WITH A FIELD TRIP

To visit Bob Polk and Cathedral Village’s Black Arts Festival. We are going up Saturday afternoon, 10.03 to enjoy the Jazz Fest on the lawn — it’s the part of the Festival that Bob’s organized this year.

Midday Meeting is a monthly fellowship group of Old First. It’s open to anyone who is free and wanting to be participate on, usually, the second Friday of the month in the middle of the day (we usually start at 1 pm.)

But even if you never have thought about attending Midday Meeting, you might want to join us for the Jazz Festival on a beautiful fall day.

We’re planning to arrive as the music starts at 1:30 pm. The event lasts until 5 pm. But people can leave as they wish. If you want to go, but aren’t sure how to get there, there are cars that can leave from church (let Michael know!)
