7 Last Words for Good Friday: Do You Want to Share A Meditation?

Our worship at the Good Friday evening service will again be organized around Jesus’ Seven Last Words. If you would like to help lead that worship by sharing a meditation or a song or a reading on one of these verses, please let Michael know:

Luke 23:34– Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.
Luke 23:43– This day you shall be with me in Paradise.
John 19:26– Woman, behold you son.
Mark 15:34– My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
John 19:28– I thirst.
John 19:30– It is finished.
Luke 23:46– Into your hands, O Lord, I commend my spirit.

The mediations do not have to be very long– say a few minutes. And more important than that they sound like a sermon, is that they are authentically yours — your reflection on what this word of Jesus means to you or for us.

If you want to offer a reflection, but feel you need some help, please do not hesitate to contact Michael.
