For those of you who might not know me, my name is Julius, and I am very excited to be taking on the role of Director of Christian Education for our beloved community!
I truly hope to become a reliable resource to you and your families in the coming years. As Director at “Kids on 12th Preschool” (my awesome day job!), I promise to bring the talents I have acquired there over the years to the children and adults of Old First.
One of the most valuable things I’ve learned during that time was the importance of communication with families. I make sure that my parents are well informed of our latest discoveries in the classroom as well being readily available by either cell phone or email.
I also know that doing my job would be impossible if not for a dedicated and caring staff of teachers with me. To that end, I hope to be able to get you as enthusiastic as I am about Christian Education!
I’m going to be organizing a C.E. Standing Leadership Group to help me with the work involved in making sure we offer the best possible christian education. If you would be interested in being involved, please let me know. Likewise, we need to get the Adult Forum organized for the Spring. If you have any ideas and suggestions, I’d like to hear them.
I know that we all have busy lives and it is never easy these days to commit to much of anything. But please know that from my experience I have learned that we will all grow together if we work together.
