Following the tradition of St. Francis, Old First will hold its annual Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, Oct. 16 this year at 11 AM.
We’ll hold church outside in the Courtyard, weather permitting, so your mastiff, chihuahua, maltese, siamese, hamster, ball python, cockatoo, tarantula or capybara will feel more comfortable. The carriage horse has been invited to stop by for a blessing and to provide a ride for anyone interested.
As always, all are welcome at Old First, whether furred or feathered, scaled or hairless. Please invite friends, neighbors, relatives and co-workers to our un-churchy worship service on the 16th.
