Celebrating Mark’s Life at Old Pine, 412 Pine Street, February 17th

Mark Wagenveld was long a faithful and dedicated member of Old First. More recently, he and his wife, Terry Mond, have been worshiping at Old Pine Presbyterian Church. Mark passed away on Saturday, Jan. 27, after an illness he’d struggled with since last summer.

Mark’s career was with the Inquirer. As well, he was involved in many communities including the Spruce Hill Community Association, UC Green, Association for a More Just Society, The City School, and his church communities.

He leaves behind his wife, Terry Mond, his two daughters Gracie Wagenveld and Sarah Wagenveld Mond, and a host of other family and friends.

On Saturday,  February 17, 2018, the Wagenveld-Mond family will be celebrating Mark’s life at Old Pine, 412 Pine Street. They extend an invitation to the whole Old First family — that we might join them in the celebration.

Because Old Pine’s parking is even more limited than Old First’s, the family has asked that we park here and walk down. Old First has secured relaxed parking from 7 am until 3 pm. Attached is the parking placard you need to display on your dashboard, if you wish to park along the east side of 4th Street.

SCHEDULE for Saturday, Feb. 17:
Meeting the Family – 9:45am-10:45am
(Old Pine Presbyterian Church. 412 Pine St. Phila. PA)

Memorial Service – 11:00am

The family thanks everyone for all the love and support they are receiving.
