5PM in-person worship outdoors in the courtyard–
Candlelight and carols for the baby Jesus. Join us as we gather and pray.
People will be masked and social-distanced. Please bring a blanket to donate for the homeless (and to stay warm with during worship!)
A certain wise man who currently lives “in the East” will be our special guest and narrator (we’re using Luke’s Gospel, so there are no wise men, but a Provost from Arabia will be a great stand-in).
8PM “candlelight” online Lessons and Carols–
You provide the candlelight (we are asking people at home to turn off their lights, and besides their light from their computer, tablet or phone, only have candlelight).
The church will provide a beautiful service retelling and singing the story of that holy night.
For prayers and singing of “Silent Night,” please have a candle for each person (your Advent candles will work).
For our “Passing the Peace of Christmas, we will be asked to share well-wishes – our wishes for specific individuals or more generally our wishes for us all.
Please think about who you might invite, even bring along with you – it’s Christmas, we are not only to receive God’s love in the Christ child; we are supposed to pass the love along…
