Old Firsters are going camping…please join us
When: Friday July 26 to Sunday July 28
Where: French Creek State Park (south of Reading PA)
Info: French Creek is located 55 miles northwest of Old First. The Park has swimming, hiking, fishing, boating and playgrounds. It is adjacent to the Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site which we plan to visit during our stay. Based on survey responses, we have rented one Yurt which sleeps 4 people (if someone with an ADA disability is needed, we will rent a second Yurt, but there are campsites available and some of them allow pets.
The weekend will include fellowship time, shared meals and free time to enjoy the many wonders of creation. For those who want to attend but have no equipment… don’t worry, we can secure some for you.
Have friends you would like to invite along? Please do.
Want to come just for the day, Saturday, that’s okay too, just let us know.
What does it cost?
Camp sites are $52.50 without pets $56.50 with pets with a maximum of 5 people per campsite. Yurt site beds are $35 per bunk.
In addition, we are asking for $20 per person over 12 for shared meals including hot dog/veggie dog roast Friday night, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday.
