If you have something of interest, an event or issue that you would like included in the E-pistle or in a notice for the bulletin, please send them to the office, to admin@oldfirstucc.org by Thursday at noon.
We’d like to ask you to think about the location of your announcements because it is important for content and particularly length. Please keep bulletin announcements no longer than 50 words. You can provide a longer explanation or more information in an E-pistle article which will stay on the website. (Article titles may be edited for brevity.)
If you would like an announcement made on Sunday morning, please see Pastor Michael prior to the beginning of service. While there may be special occasions for us to have someone come forward and make an announcement, in the interest of keeping announcements brief and getting on with the service with a worshipful feeling, we have found it’s best to let Michael list the announcements concisely.
All submissions are appreciated; if fact, the staff is often chasing down announcements and articles. Remember, everyone at church doesn’t know what you know. And getting the whole community to know anything is a big challenge. We recommend that if there is something you want people to know or to participate in or to help with… please use all available communication modes effectively.
