The announcements have been made for the last two weeks in worship.
Mailings have gone out electronically and hard mail.
This Sunday, Michael will be preaching a sermon of call entitled “Can A Church that Can’t Figure Out How to Share the Gospel Be Saved?” His scripture texts will be John 4:4-15 and John 21:1-6.
After worship, the congregational meeting will be called to order, its purpose to vote on the Elder’s recommendation to call Michael as the next settled pastor of Old First.
While only members of the church may participate in the voting, other people from this community are welcome to be stay for the meeting.
In our polity (system of church governance), every person is needed to play his or her part: only together can we hope for something as far-reaching as discerning God’s will. Please join us.
