Many of us these days probably don’t know Dave Reppert, though he’s been a member at Old First for years. And he is in church almost every weekend, just not our church!
While Dave has finished his seminary degree (and worked full-time!), he’s also served as the pastor at the UCC’s Emmanuel congregation in Bridesburg section of the city.
And now having finished his degree and all the other ordination requirements for the Committee on Ministry of the Philadelphia Association, Dave is now ready to be ordained to his service at Emmanuel.
Please join us to show up at Emmanuel Bridesburg on Sunday, Nov. 2 at 3 p.m. when Dave will be ordained to the ministry of word and sacrament.
(Parking is limited at Emmanuel, so we will organize carpools from Old First. Also, we’ll be organizing the refreshments for fellowship hour for the celebration.)
