For the last couple years, Bobbie Benjamin, the nurse at our partner school, McCall, has organized a bunch of us to join others for Dr. Seuss’ birthday. We gather in her office at about 9 a.m., and she send us out to a classroom with a story to read. It’s a fun morning, and a few of us have read stories we didn’t know before! The kids appreciate the experience. And your duly thanked and back on the streets for the rest of your morning by 10:30 at the latest.
