‘Gays Night Out’ Becomes A Day Out for a Pool Party, Sat., 2 p.m., 07.16.16

Calling all Lesbians, Gays and anyone who identifies as Queer, and allies or if you just want to go swimming–All are welcome!

From the various pool scenes from films, such as The Swimmer (1968), Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986), Boogie Nights (1997) or even Hidden Away (2015), pool parties vary from “energetic” to straight-up “WOAH!”

However, our 1st Pool Party will take a much calmer tone than those films. Join us on Sat., July 16th from 2 pm. Woody’s house is over in Turnersville, NJ (just 20 minutes from the Ben Franklin Bridge). His address will be sent to everyone in the Gays Night Out (GNO) group or available on REALM, from the church office or from John O., Michael C. and Woody. (We will arrange rides for anyone who needs them.)

We’re excited to have this opportunity during the hectic and hot month of July, so why NOT JOIN US?!?!

Woody will welcome us to his house and pool. And the grill will be fired up. This Party will be BYOB and BYOF (Bring Your Own Food) — but if you forget, come anyway: we’ll figure out how to have hot dogs, sodas, and water ready for you!

And please…it’s a party, so bring your friends, neighbors, cute boys for John and Woody, and female companions too!! Although it’s a Gays Night Out event, it’s also church… which means that everyone is welcome. GNO events are inclusive, and we welcome you to invite people from various backgrounds to our events. We hope to build this community and build relationships with those willing to grow with us from beyond the church walls. If you do plan to bring someone, please let John, Woody or Michael know.

If you have any questions about this event, please feel free to ask John O. or Michael C.
