If the sermon will try and suggest that God can be seen in the younger brother (as well as in the Father who runs out to meet him), perhaps as you prepare for communion Sunday morning (or even before!), you might think about how God as someone you need to meet who’d you’d rather not. It certainly might change the Table for you, and even for God.
