Bob Schneider, Old First member and scholar, will be preaching on the Word as found in Scripture and how it applies to our daily lives, as individuals and as a community. His sermon will touch on racism, immigration and xenophobia, religious conflict and intolerance, the abuse of the political system, threats to democracy, and violence as a means of public debate- in other words, a typical Old First Sermon.
And he will include comments about the history of Old First.
