For what do we spend our days, and the toil we exert day in and day out? How do we feel, knowing that all that we have worked for will be left to others who may or may not value it, use it well or recall our efforts and desires? How can we free ourselves from our bondage to material goods, routines, or responsibilities that prevent us from attending to God’s will in our lives?
Teach us, Jesus, in our homes and families, in our communities and neighborhoods, in our countries and continents, to always make the simple choice to root our lives in your way of freedom.
