While the search for a new Music Director is underway (the search committee is expected to have a decision very soon, so we can welcome a new Music Director by Oct 2013) we are honored to have a guest organist, Doris Dabrowski. Doris will be offering the Old First congregation organ accompaniment to our worship service for the month of September.
(People in church were startled how much organ music we had in worship last week.)
Doris Dabrowski has served as an interim or substitute organist for many churches in the Philadelphia area. The American Guild of Organists (AGO) awarded her a certificate in service playing.
Her law practice focuses on elder law, employment & employee/government benefits. Pennsylvania Super Lawyers listed her as one of the top lawyers in the state. She is an active member of the National Employment Lawyers’ Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the AGO and of ACMP: The Chamber Music Network. At her Spruce Hill house, she hosts chamber music ensembles.
