Holy Week and Easter Schedule

Maundy Thursday, March 28, 7 pm – The Last Supper in the Sanctuary & Online

People worshiping online at home, prepare the Bread and the Cup beforehand that you can participate with us as we celebrate Jesus’ Last Supper with his disciples. Any sort of bread works, from matzoh to a whole loaf.  Grape juice or  wine are the usuals in the cup, but any ‘daily drink’ could serve.

 Also, please darken the room you are participating in to match the mood in the dimmed Sanctuary.

 

Good Friday, March 29 in the Sanctuary & Online:

Vigil: 12 noon to 3 pm Taking turns reading the passion narratives,  sharing prayers & sacred music (come for a short time or the full 3 hours).

Evening Service of Reflections: 7 pm – People worshiping online at home, please darken the room you are participating from to match the mood in the dimmed Sanctuary.

 

Easter, March 31: 

Easter Dawn Service, 9 am outdoors (but not online) at Race St. Pier:

We meet at the church and walk together about 8:45 am. Or meet us at the end of Race St. Pier.

Easter Potluck Breakfast, 9:45 am in the Social Hall

Join others for Easter Breakfast between the services or before the 11 o’clock service.  If you can, bring a dish to share.  If you cannot, it is a fishes and loaves sort of meal!

Festival Worship with Brass, 11 am in the Sanctuary & online

We will have Brass, Easter Flowers (contact the church office if you want Flowers  dedicated in honor or memory of a loved one on Easter), special music.  There will be a special outdoor Easter Fellowship Hour after worship on Easter, while the children participate in the Easter Egg Hunt.
