If You Haven’t Made a 2018 Stewardship Pledge Yet…

If You Haven’t Made a 2018 Stewardship Pledge Yet…

A gentle reminder… a humble request from Old First: twenty families who traditionally make Stewardship Pledges haven’t yet pledged for 2018. We hope it’s just a sign of how busy we all are, and that Old First can count on their continued support…

People sometimes hesitate when they aren’t sure if they can fulfill the commitment. We remind everyone that one can always adjust a pledge if one’s circumstances change. And we encourage everyone to set themselves a goal to reach for (it’s about stretching in faith, you know).

Communities like Old First are more important than ever in a time like ours when honesty, civility, reason and justice seem to be losing their power and their promise.

Already, Old First has received pledges from 55 families for $197,000. But we are hoping to make it over $225,000 so that we can do all the ministry that God is asking of us.

Here is the link where you can make your pledge online: http://tinyurl.com/OFRUCC-Pledge.Or there are still pledge cards in the pews or in the brochure rack (in the lower Narthex) that you can turn in the collection plate or send to the church office.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Richard, our Stewardship Director, or Adam, our Financial Secretary or the pastor. And thank you again for your ongoing support and generosity!
