Make Sure You Can Vote in this Fall's Election… by Coming to Church this Sunday, 08.07.16

This Sunday after worship, you can register to vote or check to see if your registration information is up-to-date. Old First’s POWER team will be on hand during the fellowship time with registration forms and information about registering to vote in time for this year’s general election on Nov. 8 (in PA, NJ or DE).

Keep in mind that if you have moved or changed your name since the last time you voted, you need to register again. If you will be 18 years old by Nov. 8, you can register to vote now. If you are homeless and do not have a home address, you can register and vote. If you have a felony on your record, you can register and vote. It’s important that everyone eligible makes it to the ballot box for this upcoming election.

There “in-house” efforts are part of a larger effort — where Old Firsters and leaders from other congregations are getting out far and wide into our communities to register 3500 new voters in time for this fall’s election.

Stop by the voter registration table on Sunday to learn more and to register.
