You may have noticed the large, beautiful flower arrangements that have graced the altar at Old First lately. They are the work of Jane Hooven, a florist by trade. She has been coming to Old First since December and wanted to donate her time, flowers and expertise with them to us. She says, “It is with pleasure and happiness that I can share my craft and love of floral design, with Pastor Michael and the lovely congregation at Old First. I have been designing for 27 years and making people smile never gets old. How lucky am I to be able to do that!! Thanks again to everyone that I met at Old First that has been so kind and receiving toward me.”
Flowers for worship have been a struggle for us for some years, and try as we might to organize a solution, none has been forthcoming. Then God sent us Jane! Thanks!!!
