As we approach the date for the Walk Against Hunger on Saturday, April 8th, you need to know a few details, such as a location to gather before the walk, transportation, and contact info.
The walk will be held at Lincoln Financial Stadium, Home of the Philadelphia’s NFL team, E-A-G-L-E-S!! Transportation to the stadium is accessible via SEPTA by the Broad Street line (Orange and Blue trains). There will also be special buses picking participants up at designated locations.
For the Old First participants and others joining us, we’ll be meeting at the 5th St and Market station (Market-Frankford Line) at 7:30AM. Before we walk to the stadium, we’ll stop once more to meet others outside of McFadden’s Bar and Grill on Pattison Ave.
Please check the weather that morning so you’re prepared. Last year’s walk was a bit wet and chilly.
