Midday Meeting (delayed one week) until Wed., 02.17

So that the Midday Meeting doesn’t compete with Ash Wednesday, we will have the former on the 3rd, instead of the 2nd Wednesday this month…

Join us on Wednesday, Feb. 17, as Jackie W. shares about her recent trip to China. She went with a friend to teach nursing skills. But she also did some touring and gained some insight into life in China. She will tell us about her trip and all that she learned.

The Midday Meeting is a relaxed fellowship group for people who are free during the day and wish to gather. While that means it’s mostly our retired folks, it’s is open to anyone. It meets monthly, usually on the second Wednesday, but because of Ash Wednesday, won’t meet until the 3rd Wednesday this month. We get started about 1 p.m. with brown bag lunches. But often folks also bring food to share. About 1:30, the discussion of the day — a pre-announced topic — gets started. Depending how long we talk, we are usually done by about 2:30, or 3 p.m. at the latest.
