Madelyn, Anna, Billi, Michael and 2 other youth from St. James UCC in Limmerick will be traveling to West Lafayette, IN for the National Youth Event. The theme of this conference is literacy and all participants are asked to bring books. These will be donated and assembled into a Literacy Labyrinth that all participants can enjoy while they are there. The donated books will go to organizations, communities and libraries in need. Special requests are books in Spanish or other foreign languages, academic resources, math, history, social science and any fiction/non-fiction for children to youth (6-18yrs).
Please feel free to bring your books to worship the next 3 Sundays (until July 8th) and we’ll be sure that they make it into the Labyrinth. Thanks for all of your support for our trip!
