Usually we meet on the fourth Friday of the month, but because of Memorial Day weekend we’ve moving our monthly supper club to Friday, May 17 at 7 pm at Nomad Pizza, 611 S. 7th Street (Between South and Bainbridge).
UPDATE (added 5/16): We will MEET at Nomad Pizza, but get our pizza to go! Janice S, who lives nearby, has offered that we can enjoy our pizza on her roofdeck. The weather is supposed to be delightful, so it should be a great evening. If you arrive late and can’t find us, call Janice at 215-923-1447. Please bring your own libations!
These gatherings are open to everyone in Old First’s community — young and old, new member and long-time member, families and singles, etc. It’s a wonderful way to get to know others at church outside of the hubbub of Sunday morning.
Last month we had a nice group of about 10 folks who enjoyed one another’s company over Asian food in West Philly. Before that we’ve had Indian food and Thai food. This time we’ll try brick oven pizza.
