Mark your calendars: on Saturday, October 31, Old First will sponsor and cook breakfast for our neighbors, and we need plenty of hands to make it happen!
This is one of those mornings when our church gets to show up in the most direct way — a hot meal, a warm welcome, and the simple gift of being together. Whether you’re a seasoned cook or just willing to pour coffee and share a smile, there’s a place for you on the team. Remember that Old First is responsible for the fifth Saturdays all yearlong while our partners cover all the rest o the Saturdays for us.
Here’s what we need:
- A few shoppers to purchase ingredients ahead of time (reimbursement available — just keep your receipts).
- About 5–6 volunteers to help prepare and serve on the day, from 7am to 10am.
No special skills required — just bring yourself and a willingness to serve. It’s a short shift, good company, and a meaningful way to start your Saturday.
