Please get together a family team, a group of friends or co-workers, or a meet up group and give this ministry a try. Serving our homeless and poor neighbors is a labor of love and can be a fun social experience for the volunteers involved.
The group should bring all items needed to prepare breakfast for 80 people. I will open the social hall at 7am. We are usually cleaned up and out before 11am. Suggested menu may include pancakes or eggs or breakfast casseroles, turkey sausage, fruit, juice, coffee, sugar and creamer/milk. Breakfast is served after the guests are admitted at 9:30 am.
Take a leap of faith by contacting our Outreach Volunteer Coordinator Billi at email@example.com to provide breakfast on October 26.
Many thanks to all who are helping to make the Old First Breakfast and Clothing Cupboard provide for those in need.
