Hello Old Firsters!
A few updates:
- I know I sound like a broken record but we served 33 guests this past Saturday! Awesome job to everyone who continually makes this possible.
- I am looking to fill Saturday Breakfast fresh food donations for the 4th Saturday of November (the Saturday after Thanksgiving). Here is the Sign Up Genius link if you’re interested: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0c4ca4ab2eaafa7-saturday
- Also, shelter season is approaching, and you can now sign up for shelter dinners here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0c4ca4ab2eaafa7-shelter2. We are estimating we will need 3-4 meals per week but for now every day in November is available for sign up. If I notice that there are more than 3-4 meals scheduled in any given week, I will contact food donors individually and look to schedule them for another week.

The City of Philadelphia’s Faith-Based and Interfaith Affairs is hosting a weekly “Prayer Pause for Philadelphia.” Their announcement is here:

You can join via Facebook Live each week on Fridays at 3pm for Prayer Pauses for Philadelphia. Like the Mayor’s Office of Public Engagement on Facebook to receive a notification about the live stream!
