Photos at the Creche Day–Sun., Dec 14

A donkey, a cow, two sheep and two goats, at 4th & Race in Old City?! The animals arrived today, on Dec. 11, and the people visiting the creche showed up soon after.

The live nativity at Old First Reformed UCC is well known throughout the city. Visit them anytime (24 hours a day!) until the end of December.

And for a really close encounter, come to church on Sunday, December 14 at 12:30 pm for Photos at the Creche Day.  You and your family will greet the animals (inside the corral if you wish) and have your photo taken with any or all (well, if you or we can get the right animal to hold still near you long enough). Perfect for a Christmas card. Or a gift for Grandma. (Photos will be available for download for free within a few days.)

Bring your kids, your grandkids, your neighbor’s kids or your young-at-heart friends. But you will notice that many of the people kneeling in the straw next to the animals are not chronologically young.

And we’ll serve hot chocolate to help warm us up!

Last year’s Photos at the Creche Day was great fun. As one Old Firster put it, the photos are like an Old First Christmas album. Take a look.

Old First has many other events planned throughout the Advent and Christmas season. Please join us!
