Pray for Peace–Gather for Prayer Today, 11.09, 6:30 pm

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy.

People are shaken deeply by last night’s election results. And feeling terrible unsure. I’ve already heard from a number of you.

So let us do what the church has always done, and come together in the protective care of God’s love. To remember the promises and the grace, to support and love one another, and to summon the power to go on. Beloved, together, let us figure out where we are, and what faithfulness looks like. Now and in the days coming.

We will be at church at 6:30 this evening in the Sanctuary. (The office will work this morning on obtaining Street Parking– we will post details later on the website and on FB some confirmation.)

If anyone needs to talk today, call me at church (215.922.4566) or on my cell (215.990.7383).

Together, beloved, let us remember how God loves us and is there for us, perhaps especially in hard times.

See you in church,

Michael
