Could You Invite Someone to Church for Easter? Now You Can Do So Easily with an OF Evite…

Would you like to invite friends to Old First? But you are a little shy, maybe even tongue-tied?

Does the “high holy season of Easter” make it any easier? At least we have more services! The joyous parade of Palm Sunday and welcoming Jesus into Jerusalem. The gathering together as disciples with Jesus for the Last Supper on Maundy Thursday. The painful witness of Good Friday — seeing just how far God’s love will go for us. The incredible good news of Easter morning — that none of our human limitations is too much for God. What if someone who needs some direction could begin to believe and live this good news?

Which is to say, maybe your invitation has more to do with the situation of the person you are inviting? Someone raising children by themselves — kids who might like the parade of Palm Sunday and the Easter Egg Hunt after Easter service. Or someone who eats alone too often — so the Last Supper or Easter Breakfast make sense. Maybe someone who is grieving and needs to be around people. Or someone who either recently or a long time ago somehow lost track of their church home. And who doesn’t feel better hearing how much they are loved?

Now you can simply send them a personalized e-vite, in effect “Would you consider joining me at church?” You can add a note — letting them know why you thought of them. Or that you are offering to pick them up on the way to church. Or maybe you are inviting them to lunch afterwards…

Click on the link below, follow the easy steps, write a personal note, and easier than you can imagine, you will be able to help us spread our church’s welcome and God’s love further…
