Belle the donkey will be walking through Old City on First Friday (12.06). This is a great opportunity to bring people to see the creche animals and start a tradition like many of us….visiting the live nativity at 4th & Race.
The Young Adult Service Community ministers (Kayla, Julie & Margaret) want to spread the word about this ministry throughout the greater community by outreaching and doing some fundraising for the men’s shelter by offering hot cocoa, hot cider and baked goods.
They could use your help!
How can you make this a successful event you ask?
We are in need of baked goods, something small like cookies or brownies, as well as cocoa, milk, sugar and cider (to make hot cocoa and hot cider) OR donate funds so we can purchase what we need (mark your check or cash YASC fundraiser) to buy the items. Please donate by 12.03 or drop off any items to the church on 12.06 by 3 pm.
You can also join us that evening. We are meeting at the church at 5 pm to prepare the hot cider and cocoa and help in set up a table at 3rd and Cherry to offer the baked goods and hot drinks for a donation, as people walk around Old City for First Friday events.
