Ready for a spring jaunt? Or a good “airing out” after a long winter?
Jackie and Nancy are getting a group together to visit The Grounds for Sculpture, a 35-acre sculpture park in Hamilton (near Trenton and Princeton), NJ on Thursday, May 26th. IF the weather is good.
So far 2 cars are making the trip, so we have room for four more passengers. Interested in joining us? Transportation is on a first come, first served basis, so call or e-mail Jackie or Nancy as soon as possible to save your place.
We would love for more people to be able to go, but to do that we need more cars and drivers. If you are willing to drive and take some people with you, what should you do? Again, call either Jackie or Nancy.
Admission costs seniors $10 and adults $12. Visitors are not permitted to bring food into the park, so we will purchase lunch on site at the Peacock Café. The prices there are very reasonable.
We will meet in the front parking lot of the church at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 26th IF, and only IF, the weather is good (If you have any doubt, you may call the church to check that morning). The plan is to take advantage of a docent-led tour at 11:00 or 1:00. Wear layers and comfortable walking shoes; bring sun protection and a camera. And think good weather for that day!
