The Hymns Focused on in our Summer Sermon Series

The Hymns Focused on in our Summer Sermon Series

The results are in!

Michael, in his E-pistle last week, “Help Michael Plan the Summer Series on Favorite Hymns,” asked for people to suggest hymns that he should research and prepare Sunday sermons on this summer. Below is the list for the twelve Sundays between June 17 and September 2.

Right now the hymns are listed alphabetically, but Michael and Holly will be scheduling them in services that make the most of each one and the other music we might offer each summer Sunday. When that schedule is finished, we will share the specific sermon series schedule with dates.

Thanks for your input:

Be Thou My Vision

Because He Lives

Blessed Assurance

Come, O Fount of Every Blessing

I Was There To Hear Your Borning Cry

It Is Well With My Soul

Many and Great, O God, Are Your Works

Of the Parent’s Heart Begotten

Pass It On

Precious Lord, Take My Hand

There is a Balm in Gilead

We Would Be Building

And we hope to see most of you every Sunday all summer long (should Michael offer another prize for perfect attendance?)!
