The Parkinsingers Choir, led by our own Artist-in-Residence, Holly Phares, will present their second Spring Concert: Songs Along the Road on Monday the 20th at 6 pm in the Old First Sanctuary. The Parkinsingers is an ensemble of persons with (and without) Parkinson’s disease. Founded by Marjorie Samoff to serve people with Parkinson’s, it has developed into a true collaboration of people who are inspired by the rich and engaging experience of community singing and its effect on each of their lives. The Parkinsingers meet every Monday year round. For more information about the Parkinsingers, email Marjorie at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Songs Along the Road is made up of the “go-to songs” that the choir members themselves selected that bring them strength, humor, perspective and add vibrancy to their journeys. They are sure to lift your hearts and spirits and sustain you in whatever circumstances you encounter along your way.
Join us for the concert from 6-7 pm and enjoy light refreshments with us afterward. You are sure to enjoy the company of others who appreciate the positive effect of music in all our lives.
