The Old First POWER team is gearing up to begin our voter engagement efforts. Would you like to participate in these efforts?
One way is to make sure you are registered to vote. On August 7, the Old First POWER team will be available during the fellowship time to help answer questions about who can register, to help people register and to help confirm if people are already registered. The team will be at five additional fellowship hours before the October voter registration deadlines for PA, NJ and DE. Talk to Carrie Kreider for more info.
Another way to participate is to be a volunteer who will help people in Philadelphia register to vote. You will be trained in answering questions about voter registration and then will be teamed with 1-2 other people from Old First to set up a table in a pubic space (i.e. at 3rd and Market) and to help people register. Talk to Mimi Copp Johnson if you would like to volunteer.
