Each year, we have a Watch Night service on Dec. 31. It’s early, so whether you want to be in bed before the ball drops or your parties will have you out most of the night, you can join us in the Sanctuary at 7 p.m.
It’a simple service. And we just a handful of folks — a dozen or two at most.
And it’s mostly readings and prayers. A chance to give thanks for what is past, and to ask God’s help with what is ahead.
And afterwards, there’s always a simple sparkling cider toast and something sweet to eat (usually shortbread).
Come as you are. Bring a friend. Or a date. We promise you will be on your way a little after 8!
