POWER is organizing a bold public action to highlight our state officials’ failure for the last 9 months to pass a budget and adequately fund our schools, thereby violating their covenantal relationship with the people.
On April 13, the last day the state legislature is in session before tax day April 15, POWER leaders will hold a large rally on the capitol steps in Harrisburg to confront legislators about why they have not disbursed the tax dollars we have entrusted them with to educate our children. The next day, there will be another rally here in Philadelphia.
