On Nov. 28, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, for those who would like to participate in getting the church ready for Advent but are not ready to commit to Creche building and unable to come for the Greening on Saturday night are welcome to come on Saturday for lunch and ‘stripping, i.e. “Weather stripping” of the doors and windows on the property to help keep the warm air in and the cold air out. A simple lunch of soup and sandwiches will be served in shifts between 11:30 am and 1:00 pm. Stripping can be done between 11 am and 2:00 pm. Many hands make light the work.
