Day by day, more and more people across the country—including some in our congregation—receive their COVID-19 vaccinations. And day by day, a feeling of hope for the future returns.
One of the things I am looking forward to the most is returning to in-person worship with all of you.
Just getting to see you all will be a true gift. And even better is that we will return to our renovated sanctuary!! The Sanctuary Enhancement & Accessibility project is the first step toward celebrating Old First’s 300 Anniversary in 2027.
To those of you who have already pledged financial commitments to this effort, I thank you on behalf of all of us who will benefit from improved accessibility, improved aesthetics, and improved functionality! Thanks to you we have already raised over $280,000 toward this effort!! Bravo!
If you have not yet pledged to this fundraising effort, please take a moment right now to complete this commitment card. All gifts, no matter the size, will make a difference. The more we raise, the more we can do to renovate and maintain our historic sanctuary building for the next 300 years.
