A few weeks ago, 2 large windows were removed from the sanctuary for restoration.
Several of the windows have had portions or entire muntins replaced. The shiny black areas are areas that have been epoxy consolidated. They have been able to straighten the bowed rails as well. The windows will be primed and glazed next.
Much of the outside (doors, columns, jambs, etc.) is painting work. That will be done by an independent painting company that works with Fairmount Park Conservancy, the non-profit organization that is restoring the windows, probably not until the spring. Stayed tuned for future updates.
