Midday Meeting Is Making a New Start

Midday Meeting Is Making a New Start in the New Year

Beginning the second Thursday in February (02/09), the Midday Meeting will meet once a month at Old First in the Social Hall (with Zoom participation available as well). Bringing brown bag lunches, we will gather at 12:30 pm, and do some checking in. Our program each month will begin at 1 pm and end before 3 pm.

We will be getting the Midday Meeting started with a specific focus — it is for people who are interested in fellowship and discussing information and skills related to Aging in Place. Folks beyond the Old First community are welcome to join too (friends, relatives, neighbors).

We are expecting that each session will include a different speaker / facilitator such as a Physical or Occupational Therapist, Dietician, Pharmacist, Senior Services Specialist, Long Term Care representative, Nurse and others based upon the interests of the group.

The first meeting will be a conversation about the joys and struggles of aging, including some brainstorming on issues we might want to cover in the future session.

Come and check-in with other Old First folks and stay for a time of learning and sharing (no RSVP required!).
